Destinations
With Lincoln, Omaha, and the surrounding areas having the best bars, restaurants, and entertainment in the state, the places you’re going are just as important as how you get there!
Amount of Stops
On average, most rentals visit 3 to 4 destinations, spending 20-45 minutes at each stop. The time at each location depends on preference and the distance between each stop.
Accessibility
Ensure that each location you plan to stop at, whether a bar, restaurant, hotel, winery, church, venue, or residence, is accessible to buses. Read more on how to determine accessibility!
Call Ahead
If you’re planning a small-town bar, winery, or brewery crawl, please make arrangements with each establishment before your rental. Most require advanced notice of party buses.
‘Cause You’re Ride On Time
Timing for Route & Shuttling
Transporting you and your passengers to where you want to go is important to us and getting the timing right is key. Here are 3 important steps that each destination trip has and the average time it takes each one.
Boarding
When leaving a destination, or picking up at a shuttling location, boarding 30 to 40 people on average can take approx. 4 to 10 minutes.
Drive Time & Route
We require 15 minutes to be added to all estimated drive times from third-party apps. The driver will plan out the most accessible route for the bus.
UnBoarding
When arriving at a destination or dropping off at a shuttle location, unboarding 30 to 40 people on average can take approx. 4 to 10 minutes.
Calculating Each Destination’s Timing
Drive Time + 15 Minutes + 10 t0 20 Minutes
Please Be Aware
Third-party map & direction apps estimate drive times for the average car using real-time traffic conditions when you search for directions.
This means the estimated drive time can vary depending on whether you search at rush hour versus 11 pm or on a typical day versus on a game day, or if 8 months later, there is now construction and detours around your proposed routes or destinations. Weather and traffic accidents can also be a factor.
Compared to a bus, the average car:
- Is more maneuverable in traffic.
- Can accelerate & slow down more quickly at stoplights or when making turns.
- Roads, neighborhoods & parking lots are more accessible to them.
- Is not legally required to follow D.O.T. regulations. (E.g, all passenger carriers must stop at railroad crossings to ensure there is no train.)
The Drop-Off Process
The Final Stop
The last hurrah before the party ends has arrived! Your driver can help you watch the clock so you leave with enough time to get back to the drop-off location, usually 10 to 15 minutes before the rental time ends.
The Party Wind Down
Your group will collect all their belongings, including coolers, food, phones, and anything else brought along, and make their way off the bus.
If your group is a late-night rental, everyone, including all alcohol, must be off the bus by 2 am.
Approx. 5 to 10 Minutes
The Walk-Through
You and the driver will do a walk-through of the bus and make sure that no personal belongings have been left behind. The driver will also check for any biohazards or damage to the bus.
If you haven’t already, please remember to tip your (fun, amazing, super cool, incredible, hard-working) driver at this time.
Approx. 2 to 4 Minutes
Until Next Time
This is where we part ways! We hope you had the best time partying with us and hope to party with you many more times!
