FAQ

About Party Buses

What is a party bus

What’s the difference between a party bus & a limo?
A party bus has the length of a limo but has the height of a bus, which gives it a lot more room to stand and move around. Plus, with all the special features, its like you are in a moving nightclub.
What type of party or event can a party bus accommodate?
We provide party buses for weddings, bachelor/ette parties, prom, birthday parties, pub crawls, wine tours, corporate events, tailgates, shuttling to and from events, concerts, sporting events, and so on.

Party Bus Features

What’s inside the party bus?
Our party buses are equipped with nightclub lighting, premium sound systems, TVs and dance poles, all for your enjoyment. Check out our Fleet to see all the special features our buses have to offer!
How can we play music on the sound system?

Each of our sound systems has a radio receiver with Bluetooth, AUX and USB inputs for your convenience.

Please note, if you have a newer iPhone or other mobile devices that require an adapter to use headphones/earbuds, you’ll need to bring your own adapter.

Are there Tvs on the buses?

Yes, some of the buses have TVs on them and play DJ background videos during each rental.

You may play videos or slideshows on the TVs. Although, there are some limitations. Please check with one of our rental coordinators for more information and to make arrangments to use the TVs.

Party Bus capacity

What are the Capacities for each bus?

Optimus and Malibu have a capacity of 45 passengers.

Apollo has a capacity of 35 passengers.

Aspen and SoCal have a capacity of 32 passengers.

How Strict are the capacities of the buses?

Do to insurance and D.O.T regulations, we can not exceed the capacities on the buses. Before each rental, our drivers do a head count to ensure we don’t go over the capacity limit.

Is the bus cramped at full capacity?

It depends on the group, how many coolers/kegs, etc..

If comfort is your ultimate priority, it’s always recommended to subtract 2-5 passengers off the capacity limit, just to be safe.

Renting a party bus

Getting Started

How do I rent a bus?

Call or submit a quote with the details of your trip so we can check to see if a bus is available for the date and time you are wanting.

If there is a bus available, we can put your name down as tentative to hold the bus for 48 hours. Once you are ready, you can then go fill out our online reservation form to finalize the reservation. Once that is submitted, we will run your card for the $150 deposit.

Is there a minimum amount of hours required to rent a bus?
Yes, a 4-hour minimum is required for all rentals. Although, wedding packages can be used 1 – 4 hours.
How old do I have to be to rent the bus?
The renter must be at least 21 years old to sign our rental agreement.

If you are planning to turn 21 on the day of the rental, you may still rent the bus.

Yes, a nonrefundable $150 deposit or $400 deposit for Husker Games, special events and holidays is required to reserve one of our luxury buses. When you submit your reservation, a valid credit card must be on file and the deposit will be charged within 1 – 3 business days.

Can we use Venmo to pay our balance?

As of this time, we do not accept Venmo to pay for the rental.

Fees &
fines

Is there a mileage fee?
For any rentals within Lincoln or Omaha, there is no mileage fee.

For any rentals outside of Lincoln or Omaha, there is a $1.00 per mile fee to the pick-up location and from the drop-off location. Once you are on the bus, the mileage fee stops.

For more details on all of our fees and fines, please read over our Rental Terms & Conditions

Canceling
a rental

What if we need to cancel?

You may cancel a rental at anytime. However, we do have cancelation fees.

If the rental is canceled at any point, for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded. No exceptions.

If the rental is canceled within 7 days of the rental, half the rental price will be due.

If a wedding cancels within 30 days of the rental, the full rental price will be due.

If the rental is canceled within 48 hours of the rental, the full rental price will be due.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Our highest priority is the safty of our renters, their passengers and our drivers. We always monitor the news and Nebraska’s 511 road conditions tracker, as well as check road conditions ourselves and assess whether it’s safe to proceed with the rental.

If the roads are bad and we have to cancel because of the weather, you would get a full refund, including the deposit.

If we determined the roads are safe and the rental may proceed, but you decided to cancel anyway, then you wouldn’t get a refund and the normal cancelation fees would apply.

What if we're not sure about the times?

Please note, we do schedule around the times you give us, so make sure to get us your times as soon as possible. The closer you get to the rental date, the harder it might be to change the times.

Please note, some small town bars (i.g. Roca Tavern.) require you to call 2-3 days in advance to let them know you’re coming with a party bus. Please make sure to call them and give them your name, number and approximate time frame you’re planning on being there.
