Common questions about our party buses, what separates them from limos, the size of the buses and all the many features our buses have.

What type of party or event can a party bus accommodate?
Party Bus Features
What’s inside the party bus?
How can we play music on the sound system?
Each of our sound systems has Bluetooth and AUX inputs for your convenience.
Please note, if you have a newer iPhone or other mobile devices that require an adapter to use headphones/earbuds, you’ll need to bring your own adapter.
Are there Tvs on the buses?
Yes, all of our buses have TVs on them and play DJ background videos during each rental or are used for Karaoke Cruising™ to display lyrics.
You may play videos or slideshows on the TVs.
Although, there are some limitations. Please check with one of our rental coordinators for more information and to make arrangements to use the TVs.
Can The Dance Poles Be Removed?

However, we do have Aspen, our 32 passenger bus, which does not have a dance pole.
Party Bus capacity
What are the Capacities for each bus?
How Strict are the capacities of the buses?
Due to insurance and D.O.T regulations, we can not exceed the capacities on the buses. Before each rental, our drivers do a head count to ensure we don’t go over the capacity limit.

It depends on the group, how many coolers/kegs, etc..
If comfort is your ultimate priority, it’s always recommended to subtract 4-6 passengers off the capacity limit, just to be safe.
One, Two, step…
Renting a Party Bus
We detail every step of the rental process, from getting a quote, how and when you need to pay, gratuity to the driver and of course, how to cancel a rental, just in case.
Getting Started
How do I rent a bus?
Call or submit a quote with the details of your trip so we can check to see if a bus is available for the date and time you are wanting.
If there is a bus available, we can put your name down as tentative to hold the bus for 48 hours. Once you are ready, you can then go fill out our online reservation form to finalize the reservation. Once that is submitted, we will run your card for the $250 deposit.
Is there a minimum amount of hours required to rent a bus?
Yes, a 4-hour minimum is required for all rentals. Although, wedding packages can be used 1 – 4 hours for a flat fee.
How old do I have to be to rent the bus?
The renter must be at least 21 years old to sign our rental agreement.
If you are planning to turn 21 on the day of the rental, you may still rent the bus.
What is your pricing and do you have any discounts?
You may find all our pricing on our bus pages. Or you may request a quote.
And yes, we do have specials, wedding packages, and Polar Experience™ available.
Please Note: All discounts are applied to the hourly rate and must be applied to the reservation before the rental date. Discounts and package deals cannot be combined. Discounts do not apply to fees or fines, including the mileage fee.
Deposits & Payments
Is there a deposit required?
Yes, a nonrefundable $250 deposit for regular or wedding rentals or a nonrefundable $400 deposit for Husker Games, special events and holidays is required to reserve one of our luxury buses.
When you submit your reservation, a valid credit card must be on file and the deposit will be charged within 1 – 3 business days.
The deposit payment will be applied to the total rental price.
When do I need to pay for the rental?
You may pay by credit card anytime prior to your rental or you may pay the driver with cash or card when they pick you up.
Weddings must be paid in full prior to the rental date.
We do not accept checks or Venmo.
Do I need a credit card on file?
Yes, all rentals must have a valid credit card on file before the time of the rental.
How Do I Make a Payment?
You may let us know by email or phone if you’d like to make a payment using the credit card on file or you may update your credit card information and make a payment online.
Can we use Venmo to pay our balance?
As of right now, we do not accept Venmo to pay for the rental.

For more details on all of our fees and fines, please read over our Bus Rules, Fines & Safety Guidelines or our Rental Terms & Conditions.
Are there any other fees or fines?
If there is damage done to the bus durning the rental, (i.g. broken seat, window, mirror, lights, etc.) there will be a damage fine. This fine will be based on the cost to fix the damage.
There is also a smoking fine. If a passenger is caught smoking or vaping, a $250 fine will be charged to the credit card on file.
Please, no jello shots, popcorn, gummies, candies or sticky foods on the buses. Also, please no styrofoam cups or styrofoam coolers, as well as no glitter, confetti, rice, etc.

Gratuity
How much should we tip the driver?
The limo and party bus industry recommends 20% gratuity.
If you want to get the tip out of the way before the rental, we can charge it to the credit card on file along with your remaining balance. Or you may pay the driver in cash at the time of your rental.
Some drivers do accept Venmo for tips. Please check with them prior to the rental to see if they accept it or not.
What about rentals with chauffeur fees?
Since that rental has a Chauffeur fee included in the package price, gratuity will not be necessary for that rental. But of course, it is always welcome.
Is there a tip jar?
No, we do not have a tip jar.
Can we tip through Venmo?
Some of our drivers do accept Venmo. Please check with them prior to the rental to see if they accept it or not.
Canceling
a rental
What if we need to cancel?
You may cancel a rental at any time. However, we do have cancellation fees.
If the rental is canceled at any point, for any reason, the nonrefundable deposit will not be refunded. No exceptions.
If the rental is canceled within 14 days of the rental date, half the rental price will be due.
If a wedding or special event (Concert, Husker Game, Holiday, etc.) cancels within 30 days of the rental date, the full rental price will be due.
If any rental is canceled within 10 days of the rental date, the full rental price + a $150 driver cancellation fee will be due.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Our highest priority is the safety and well-being of our passengers, drivers, and everyone else on the road.
We always monitor weather predictions, closure announcements, severe weather warnings, and Nebraska’s 511 road conditions tracker, as well as check road conditions ourselves, all to assess whether it’s safe to proceed with the rental.
We also do everything we possibly can to ensure the buses run smoothly, including flushing out airlines, checking heaters, and using the top blended fuel to prevent the bus from gelling up.
Leading up to the rental, we stay in contact with renters and keep them up-to-date as much as possible on any weather-related situation.
However, with any extreme weather, we cannot predict or guarantee anything. We always err on the side of caution when making any decision concerning the weather and the safety of everyone on the bus. It is our policy to make the final determination if a rental can proceed on the day of the reservation, typically a couple of hours before the pick-up time.
- If road conditions are hazardous or the weather makes it unsafe to operate, we will cancel the reservation. Due to these circumstances being out of our control, you may reschedule for a different date, and your deposit and any payments that have been made will be transferred over to the new reservation.
- If we determine the roads and weather conditions are safe, and the rental may proceed as planned, but you decide to cancel anyway, then the normal cancelation policy would apply.
- If the rental is delayed by a certain amount of time before or during the rental due to weather conditions, you may make up the time (if possible) at the end of the rental or on a future rental. If we have to end a rental early due to weather or poor road conditions, you may make up the time on a future rental.
Come on baby,
let the good times roll
Trip Details
We take the guess work out of how to plan your trip. From pick-up and drop-off to planning your destinations and what to expect during your trip.
Pick-up & drop-off
What if we're not sure about pick-up and drop-off locations?
That’s okay. On the reservation form, please put the city (i.g. Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NE) you’d like to be picked up and dropped off.
Once you know where you want to go, just give us a call or email us anytime before your trip with that information.
Can you pick-up at a residence or apartment complex?
In most cases, we can, as long as it is accessible to buses. This means having a wide enough street or drive, no sharp turns or angles, through ways to exit or to make a U-Turn. We do avoid streets with cars lined up on both sides, culdesacs, and circles. (Although, we can park at the end of any culdesac or circle or park outside of an apartment complex parking lot, if applicable.) Please plan accordingly and have backup arrangements just in case.
The driver has discretion over where the bus goes and will make the final decision. We cannot guarantee that every private or public establishment, venue, farm, acreage, neighborhood, apartment complex, or private residence will be accessible to buses. Please review our Rental Terms & Conditions for more details.
What if we're not sure about the times?
That’s quite alright. Simply give us an estimation of when you believe the times will be so we can get you down on the schedule. Once you have the times firmed up, give us a call or email us to let us know the exact times.
Please note, we do schedule around the times you give us, so make sure to get us your times as soon as possible. The closer you get to the rental date, the harder it might be to change the times.
What's the latest drop-off time we can do?
In accordance with the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission’s rules and regulations, the latest drop-off we are allowed to do is 2:00 AM.
For more information on our alcohol policies, you may check out our Alcohol On The Bus page or the Alcohol Consumption and Underage Passengers section in our Rental Terms & Conditions.
Can you show up Early to Load coolers or get everyone on board?
Whatever time you give us for a pick-up is when the bus is scheduled to arrive. (i.g. If you tell us 9:00 PM pick-up, the bus will be rolling up to the pick-up location at 9:00 PM)
Our drivers do always try to show up a few minutes early to ensure we are on time. However, we do not guarantee to be early.
If you’d like us to pick you up earlier than the original pick-up time, we can add additional time in 15-minute increments.
Please only bring small or medium sized coolers with widths no bigger than 16 inches and no taller than 14 inches to ensure they fit through entryways, under seats, etc.
No styrofoam coolers or styrofoam cups are allowed on the bus.
Can we have multiple pick-up and drop-off locations?
Yes, that’s not a problem. Although, please note, your rental time will start at the first pick-up location and stop at the final drop-off location.
On the reservation form, make sure to put the first pick-up location and last drop-off location in the designated fields. Then put any additional pick-up and drop-off locations in the destinations and rental instructions box.
You may also let us know of additional pick-up and drop-off locations at any time.
Destinations
What if we're not sure about our destinations?
That’s quite alright. Simply write “TBD” in that section of the rental agreement. Once you know where you want to go, just give us a call or email us anytime before the day of your rental with that information.
In addition, you can also let the driver know when they call you before your rental to confirm all the details.
Can you give me recommendations on where to go?
Absolutely! Our drivers know all the best spots and can give you recommendations, as well as help you plan out a route.
When planning your driving itinerary, it’s recommend to add 10-15 minutes to drive times off of Google or Apple Maps, as buses do take longer to get around than your average car.
How Do I Know If A Location is accessible To Buses?
There are occasions when a location is not accessible to buses. To know if your location is accessible to buses, please make sure it has the following:

- No culs-de-sac or circles
- Large enough parking lot to maneuver a bus around
- Large enough spaces to park that do not block traffic or impede parked cars

- Multiple exits; through ways to exit; or enough room for a bus to make a U-Turn

- Reinforced or larger culverts (On farms, etc.)
- Gravel roads or drives that are not muddy

If you’re unsure, you may discuss each location with the driver. However, please plan accordingly and have backup arrangements just in case.
The renter is also responsible for obtaining and/or providing permission to go onto private property.
The driver has discretion over where the bus goes and will make the final decision. We cannot guarantee that every private or public establishment, venue, farm, acreage, neighborhood, apartment complex, or private residence will be accessible to buses. Please review our Rental Terms & Conditions for more details.
Do you go to small town bars?
Of course! We love small town bar crawls. If you know the bars you would like to go to, we can add them to your reservation. Your driver can also give you recommendations, as well as help you plan out a route.
Please note, some small town bars (i.g. Roca Tavern.) require you to call 2-3 days in advance to let them know you’re coming with a party bus. Please make sure to call them and give them your name, number and approximate time frame you’re planning on being there.
When planning out your trip, it’s recommended to add 10-15 minutes to drive times off of Google or Apple Maps, as buses do take longer to get around than your average car.

The driver has discretion over where the bus goes and will make the final decision. Please review our Rental Terms & Conditions for more details.
Can You Go ON Gravel Roads?
Yes, we can go on gravel roads. However, we cannot go down minimum maintenance roads.
Although, if it’s been raining or excessively muddy, we do leave it up to the driver to determine if the road is accessible. The last thing we want is the bus getting stuck on a muddy road with 30-40 people on board. So please make sure to have backup arrangements just in case.
The driver has discretion over where the bus goes and will make the final decision. Please review our Rental Terms & Conditions for more details.
Can You Go Out of State?
No, unfortunately, as of Jan. 1st, 2020, we no longer cross state lines. Absolutely no exceptions.
Durning
the trip
Can we make unexpected stops?
Yes, of course. If you decide you want to go to a different bar or make a pit stop at a gas station, just let the driver know.
What if we want to ride longer than previously planned?
If you and your guests decide you want to go longer than the scheduled time, you may continue your trip at the designated hourly rate for that bus. The credit card on file will be charged accordingly or you may pay the driver with cash.
Although, in accordance with the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission’s rules and regulations, the latest drop-off we are allowed to do is 2:00 AM.
Please note, that there could be other rentals after yours, or there might be unforeseen circumstances and continuing the rental longer might not be possible.

1, 2, 3, can we get a sound check? Because when you step up to the mic to belt out Beyonce or Adele, there can be no interruptions for your diva moment.
The Karaoke System
What equipment does the Karaoke Cruising™ system use?
Our Karaoke Cruising™ system incorporates a studio-quality sound mixer and wireless 4-channel microphone system that is built right into the bus and fully integrated with the bus’s audio, and visual system. And an iPad Kiosk serves as our karaoke hub that controls the whole system.
Do the lyrics appear on all the tv screens?
Does it cost to use Karaoke Cruising™?
Yes, there is a $50 fee to add-on Karaoke Cruising™.
Karaoke Cruising™ must be added on before your rental date.
Singa
How Do I Download Singa?
Download Singa mobile app from App Store or Google Play Store.
A Singa Premium subscription is not required for checking in to venues and sending song request
Can I browse the song catalogue before my rental?
Yes! Using the Singa app, you will be able to browse the song library and favorite songs or add them to your Singlist by holding down on any album artwork until the menu pops up and then selecting either ‘Favorite‘ or ‘Add to Singlist‘.
You can find your favorite songs, artists, and Singlists in the bottom navigation of the Singa app under ‘My Library‘.
How do I find your Venue?
At pick-up, you will be able to connect to our venue. To do so, use the following steps:
- In the bottom navigation, tap ‘Venues’.
- Tap on the ‘Search for Venues‘ field
- Tap on the red button that says ‘Find Private Venue by Code‘
- Enter your Venue Code that will be elite dash renter’s first name, e.g. ‘elite-rentersfirstname‘
- When you find our venue, tap ‘Connect to Venue’.
How do I add a Song to the Queue?
After you’ve connected to our venue with the Singa app, you may search the song catalogue or select a song from your ‘Singlist‘ or favorites.
Once you’ve found a song you like, (if applicable) select a version, adjust the pitch & tempo or add vocals. Then enter your name and select ‘Request Song’.
Songs will be added to the queue in the order they are received. At the bottom of each TV screen, it will show the name of the singer up next and the time before they sing.
At the bottom of the Singa app, a data bar appears, from which you can track the songs you have requested and their status.
Can We use the iPad Kiosk?
Yes! You may search for and request songs using the iPad. You may also pause, stop or play the next song from the iPad.
Why Can't I find a song that I want to sing?
Singa is constantly striving to expand their karaoke catalog, and keep adding new content on a weekly basis. If you can’t find a particular song, it may be because there is no karaoke version available of the song or it has not yet been added to their collection. However, their goal is that you can find all your favorite karaoke songs on Singa.
The Mics
How many microphones can we use at once?
How Do the Microphones work?
All the microphones are wireless and have a display on the front that lights up green when they are turned on. The power button is located near the bottom of the microphone. Hold down on the button until the display illuminates green.
We recommend turning the microphones off when not using and passing the ones not in use to the next singer so they’re ready when it’s their turn to sing.
Do I have to hold the microphone a certain way?
The microphones are directional, so you will want to point the microphone head directly toward you and hold it close to your mouth.
Will there be any feedback?
We’ve ran countless tests (yes, we got carried away singing hours of songs ourselves) through out the bus, including standing, sitting and moving through out the bus and calibrated the sound mixer and microphone system to ensure feedback is not an issue.
As long as you do not put the microphone directly under the speaker (within 1-2 feet), with the microphone head pointing toward the speaker, there should be no feedback. Your chauffeur will demonstrate this at the beginning of the rental so it can be avoided.
We Got rules, we count ’em
